Alison Vu (she/her) serves as ACT-LA’s Communications Manager, where she amplifies ACT-LA’s work across Los Angeles. In her previous roles, she worked in both the marketing-communications sphere—as well as fundraising—in homelessness services, feminist organizing, feminist media and civil rights. Alison is a lifelong Southern California resident, and has made Santa Monica, the South Bay and various cities in Orange County her home. She holds a B.A. in Criminology from the University of California, Irvine—focusing on constitutional law and the criminalization of poverty.
