Housing the Heartland: Messaging research on housing and homelessness in three heartland communities
No matter where we live, we all want to be part of strong communities where everyone has a place to come home to. From coast to coast, communities in the United States are struggling to ensure everyone has a safe, quality and affordable place to live, but the national conversation typically doesn’t include information about communities in the heartland.
Watch the webinar recording to hear about three messaging and public opinion research projects the Housing Narrative Lab conducted over the past two years among residents of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska and statewide in Minnesota. You’ll hear about the research findings and how they are being applied locally with our guests, Jesse Kline of Lake Research Partners, our Tulsa partners Ginny Hensley with A Way Home for Tulsa and Mark Smith with Housing Solutions Tulsa, and our partner in Minnesota Jenny M. Jones. The webinar was moderated by Grover Wehman-Brown of the Housing Narrative Lab.
